Job Description
iOS Developer | Responsibilities:
- Help define mobile for an entire industry. Ticketing now is where photo sharing was when iOS 3 was released.
- Lead the evolution of the SeatGeek app from a feature-poor quasi-MVP to the most popular ticketing app in the App Store
- Hit the ground running and immediately start building new features in the app
- Define the long-term architectural plan for the app; re-write parts of existing codebase for maintainability
- Work with the SeatGeek design folks (me…sorry, this job has its downsides) to build new UI components
iOS Developer | Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience building iPhone apps (our prototypical candidate would have at least 2-3 years, but we don’t want to exclude talented people with a bit less)
- Someone who has developed beautiful, useful apps that are live in the App Store
- An engineer who’s comfortable handling plenty of responsibilty and can see a project to completion with minimal help and intervention
- Someone who cares about building something that’s used and loved by many. Someone who cares about details–we’ve noticed the best iOS developers are as obsessed with pixels as they are with view controllers and NSSortDescriptors (Eric’s favorite discovery while working on the app).
