Scholastic is currently seeking a: Senior Mobile Producer, eReading Software
Mobile Producer-Senior | Objective:
Manage the development of an innovative eReading software application built especially for kids and launched across several platforms, including iPhone, iPad, Android phones, Android tablets.
Mobile Producer-Senior | Principal Responsibilities:
Content Development
- Write detailed design documentation for the iPhone, iPad, Android versions, working with outside developers to solve the interface and technical challenges unique to each platform
- Review all builds of the software and give detailed feedback
Project Management:
- Manage the daily and weekly schedules for the developers and various design firms, to keep within the overall milestone schedule
- Manage internal approvals of user interface and graphic design
- Set up and manage the logistics and reporting required for kid testing sessions
- Manage the quality assurance team, giving them guidance on what to test and prioritizing bugs
Mobile Producer-Senior | Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
- 7 + years experience as the team leader in designing, producing, and shipping consumer interactive products.
- Preferably for kids ages 4-12 and for iPhone, iPad or Android devices
