Employer: SportsLabs

Employment Type: Full-Time Job

Job Description

We’re looking for motivated and passionate mobile developers to take the Mimo apps to the next level. From configuring a monitor’s WiFi connection, to giving parents useful insights about their baby, we’re dedicated to building apps that are easy to use and that actually help parents. Our team is fast-paced, with a less-is-more attitude, and an awesome office in downtown Boston.

We are the first to build a product that gives parents real-time data about their child in an easily digestible and insightful way via the devices in their pockets. The Mimo is a new kind of baby monitor that tracks a baby’s respiration, skin temp, body position, activity level, and streams that with live audio directly to a parent’s smartphone, anywhere on Earth. We’re building access points within the system that allow parents to input meaningful data; we’re developing new tracking mechanisms and features that empowers parents to craft a story about the health and progress of their baby over the course of that baby’s infant lifetime; and we’re going beyond sleep tracking by building devices that talk to the Mimo monitor and simplify other aspects of parents’ lives. No other company is doing this, and our market reception is extremely positive.

We’re just getting started, but we need you to come help us craft this revolution in connectedness, story telling, and insight by taking our mobile apps to the next level. We need you.

Company Description:

Rest Devices makes simple and human-centered devices that help keep people healthy and relaxed. We’re obsessed with making monitoring and data radically simple for people. Ultimately, we want every product we make to be as simple, comfortable, and accurate as humanly possible.

We work to create products that parents can rely on and which can create better (and more!) rest for both a baby and his/her mom and dad. And, in addition, we have a ton of fun working with parents, kids, and babies to figure out how best we can help them; helping families with simple engineering solutions is pretty much the best job around.

Our smart, scrappy team is doing everything they can to create the best possible product for parents and their babies. And, we work with a lot of moms (and dads!) to make that happen.
