Full-Time Job: Mobile Software Engineer, Cambridge, MA (HubSpot)

Job Title: Mobile Engineer

Job location: Cambridge, MA

Employer: HubSpot

Employment Type: Full-Time Job

Job Description

HubSpot is looking for hackers and software engineers who are interested in solving complex problems and being part of one of the fastest growing, most ambitious engineering teams in the world. HubSpot engineers work in small teams with minimal process and are given the freedom to do big things and own the software they create.

HubSpot’s making a big push to invest more in mobile, and we need pragmatic, flexible, razor-sharp developers to join our team and make it happen. We’re writing in Objective-C for iOS, Java for Android, and sharing CoffeeScript/JavaScript code between both platforms and the web. We want to define the future on how hybrid apps can deliver great a great user experience and promote code reuse.

We don’t want to port HubSpot’s web app to mobile, we want to build mobile-first features thatenhance the entire product and user experience as a whole. We want people who are interested in building all of a mobile product, not just writing code to a spec or mockup.

Do these qualities describe you?

  • You love learning and working with different technologies — In any given week, shipping a feature could involve coding in CoffeeScript/JavaScript, Objective-C, Java and Python.
  • You’ve shipped gorgeous apps using open technologies that users love and use.
  • You place a premium on user experience and efficiency. You believe in developing apps in an iterative, incremental fashion with measurable progress.
  • You are one of the best engineers you know.

As an engineer you will get a MacBook Pro and a GitHub Enterprise account on your first day.  Working closely with your team, you will start shipping production code right away.

Come help us build real products that thousands of customers depend on.
