Job Description
Smashing Boxes is hiring iOS developers for our growing team of web and mobile developers. All experience levels are welcome to apply! The position is full time, in house in our Durham NC offices. We believe strongly in the development and continued growth of our team on a professional and personal level.
iOS Developer | Responsibilities:
- Working alongside our product and design teams to customize our clients experience for the iOS platform.
- Implementation of custom, native user interfaces using the latest iOS programming techniques.
- Ability to analyze and refactor UI and back-end application code for efficiency and performance.
iOS Developer | Requirements:
- Requirements for the ideal candidate:
- B.S. or M.S. Computer Science or related field.
- 4+ years of object-oriented software development experience.
- 4+ years mobile application development.
- 4+ years building complex applications for the iPhone or iPad using Objective-C/C++ with Cocoa and other frameworks.
- Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.
- Experience with Test-driven Development (TDD)/Behavior-driven Development (BDD).
- Knowledge of iOS SDK performance tools and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills.
