Android Developer | Responsibilities:
- Design and build Android app focused on college student life
- Collaborate with other mobile native and html5 developers on shared libraries/content/approaches
- Work with backend services team to ensure you get the data you need for the job
- Think ahead! Our demographic is smart 17-21 year old students, THE early adopters. What will they need in four years?
Android Developer | Requirements:
- 6+ years in software development
- 6+ years in Java development and 2+ years in Android mobile development
- Knowledge of Android SDK, JSON and XML
- Portfolio of pervious apps in Android Marketplace
- Small form factor and mobile design/UX experience
- Experience integrating mobile apps with web services and web-view, not just standalone apps
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Android Developer | Preferred
- Java Swing (many of the best Android developers are Swing developers)
- Experience with front-end technologies: HTML5, CSS, Javascript
- iOS, J2ME, Symbian or other native mobile experience
