WeddingWire is looking for mobile hackers and software engineers capable of solving complex non-intuitive problems in a seemingly intuitive manner. You will be working in an innovative (and fast growing!) engineering team. WeddingWire engineers work in small teams that make a monumental impact on the single most important day of a couple’s life: their wedding day.
WeddingWire is the richest source of local data for the events industry, and we get to build products that leverage this data to help connect the millions of engaged couples to hundreds of thousands of local merchants across the nation. Furthermore, we are feverishly passionate about helping small businesses grow their businesses online. We relish the opportunity to deploy technology that helps small businesses be better marketers and service partners for their clients.
WeddingWire is making a big push to invest heavily in mobile, and we need pragmatic, flexible, razor-sharp developers to join our team and make it happen. We are building Android apps using Java and the Android SDK. We built a RESTful API to interact with our core platform, and also use Ruby on Rails, GitHub, and Amazon Web Services to pull it all together.
Android Developer | Requirements:
