Job Description
Barracuda is looking for a talented Senior Android Software Engineer to work on the top rated signing app. This engineer will join a rapidly growing team developing exciting new functionality that will bring administrative and end user functionality to the mobile platform. This is a great opportunity to join a talented and fun engineering and product team to bring new technology to the market.
Android Engineer | Responsibilities:
- Design and implement new product functionality using existing APIs
- Work with QA to improve stability and performance of the product
- Design and implement new Adroid features as required
- Contribute to product visual design, UI/UX design
- Maintain familiarity with current and emerging technologies
- Contribute to team best practices for code structure, testing automation, continuous integration
Android Engineer | Requirements:
- 4 plus years of software development experience
- 1-2 years of proven native Android development experience with example apps available
- Experience with network programming including familiarity with JSON or SOAP APIs interacting with web services
- Familiarity with source control systems (SVN, git, etc.)
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Strong customer focus and solid communication skills
- Able to independently work under time pressure, in a fast-paced dynamic team environment, with minimum specifications
Android Engineer | Preferred:
- Working knowledge of TCP/IP protocols and networking (e.g., IP addressing, DNS configuration, etc.)
- Experience making great looking apps from graphic designs
- Experience with iOS application development
- Education:
- CS degree from top tier school or equivalent
