The Journey
Roadtrippers began as web application but mobile has always been on our mind. It’s all about getting out there and onto the open road. But you know that! Roadtrippers’ iOS mobile team is responsible for compressing the 13” desktop experience into 4” and simplifying it at the same time. It’s no small feat, but someone has to do it. As an iOS Developer you will create core features and make Roadtrippers the top Travel and Tourism app.
Points of Interest
Success as an iOS Developer at Roadtrippers means you can take mockups and UI diagrams and make them work. You understand the importance of speed and simplicity in a mobile app and appreciate the operating system and hardware bestowed upon us from One Infinite Loop. Some call you an Apple fanboy, maybe you prefer enthusiast — either way there’s some truth to it. We won’t care. We’ll call you whichever you prefer.
iOS Developer | Requirements:
- Knowledge of Core Data, Core Location, Mapkit, and Foundation frameworks
- Experience with Google Maps, Google Analytics, and Facebook iOS SDK’s
- Understanding of Objective-C multithreading and Grand Central Dispatch
- Experience utilizing web API’s within iOS applications
- Experience with Cocoa Pods library manager
- A passion for building an awesome consumer facing product, used by thousands every day
- A rampant hunger for learning, self improvement and willingness to accept constructive criticism
- A good sense of humor and healthy enjoyment of chilled malt beverages
