Job Description
We are looking for a senior Android Developer who possesses a passion for working on android applications and will work with our talented team to design and build the next generation of our mobile applications.
Android Engineer | Responsibilities:
- Design and build new complex features for the existing Android platform
- Work with our REST-ful API’s to fetch data.
- Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability.
- Create innovative applications for the Google Android platform.
- Partner closely with our design team to produce an application that flows seamlessly and works intuitively with our users.
- Constantly optimize our existing code base to ensure world class quality.
Android Engineer | Requirements:
- 5+ years of software development experience
- 3+ years of Android development
- Have published at least one original Android app
- Experience with Android SDK
- Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON
- Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
- Working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle.
- Knowledge of an Object Oriented Programming language such as Java is required.
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, TRAINING
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject’
