Job Description
iOS Developer | Responsibilities:
- Lead the development of an iOS app targeted at both iPhone and iPad.
- Translate complex problems into simple and elegant software solutions.
- Help share and execute our strategy while working in a collaborative environment.
- Have a passion for code and product to where you care about creating a great product versus an average one.
- Lead our team into the next generation of amazing mobile apps.
- Collaborate with product management to review, prioritize and plan product requirements.
iOS Developer | Requirements:
- 2+ years of knowledge and work experience developing iOS mobile applications.
- Experience working with the native XCode tool kit, and deploying to the App Store.
- Experience collaborating with backend, frontend, and Android developers to deliver a consistently excellent cross-platform experience.
- Experience helping define and use a cross-platform API, especially RESTful JSON.
- A strong attention to detail and are a self-starter.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
- Thrive in a high-energy, fast-paced environment.
iOS Developer | Preferred:
- Experience developing Android apps.
- Experience programmatically manipulating images (e.g., cropping, scaling, image filters, creating collages)
- Experience integrating Web Views seamlessly inside native apps.
- Relational database experience (especially MySQL).
- Web programming experience (especially HTML5, JavaScript, and PHP).
- Scalability experience (traffic management, CDNs, business continuity planning, caching, in-memory databases).
