Sr. Mobile Developer

The Sr. Mobile Development Representative will Serve as the lead on mobile application development projects and support other mobile and web projects that are in progress

iOS Mobile Developer | Responsibilities

• Lead new mobile project initiatives and lead and support new and ongoing web application projects
• Fully support the existing information architecture and content management system.
• Design, develop and troubleshoot iOS and other mobile applications.
• Create lightweight, cross-platform websites optimized for mobile devices.
• Collaborate with back-end developers to seamlessly integrate elements of front and back-end development.
• Interact with clients, product owners and project managers to define and develop new products, features, and enhancements.
• Conduct application and website reviews to ensure new additions and development work follows style guides and best practices

iOS Mobile Developer | Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical field of study
• 2+ years hands on experience with mobile application development for iOS
• 5+ years of progressive web development experience using Content Management Systems including SharePoint and WordPress
• Familiarity with development for Android and other devices
• Experience deploying one or more applications to a public mobile app store
• Experience developing reusable APIs, consuming web services (REST) and processing data (XML/JSON)
• Strong UI/UX skills
• Familiarity with open source Mobile Frameworks such as Phone Gap
• Experience working on complex web projects from initiation to launch
• JavaScript, CSS3, HTML5, PHP and jQuery
• Understanding of JavaScript frameworks (Backbone)
• Experience with developing and optimizing responsive designs
• A clear understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and degradation strategies
