Job Description

The Technical Lead is responsible for leading a team of permanent and contract developers during the development phase of a project. The Technical lead will create and review technical design documentation based on system and functional requirements. Additionally monitor progress toward goal, support developers, as well as conduct peer code reviews. The Mobile Technical Lead will act as a subject matter expert, assisting leadership with technical strategy and provide consistency in approach and technology among developers.

The Mobile Technical Lead is expected to have broad experience in designing and developing applications for iOS, Android, HTML5, responsive design/development and where the market is moving towards with hybrid and future native web apps. The tech lead is also expected to have a strong understanding of mobile UI/UX.

Mobile App Architect | Responsibilities:

• Lead development team during development effort
• Receive direction and provide status updates to Delivery Managers
• Create & review technical designs documentation
• Collaborate with product owners, project management, UI/UX designers and development teams
• Code review

Mobile App Architect | Requirements:

• 4+ years experience leading development teams
• Experience building complex applications for iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry devices
• Ability to work and develop across multiple platforms including iOS, Android, Windows and Blackberry
• Strong mobile development skillset: J2EE, iOS, Web Services (SOAP, RESTful)
• Experience working with UI and backend developers, specifically within the .NET framework.
• Ability to understand and debug large and complex code bases.
• A strong understanding and background in developing HTML5 web apps
• Experience with Hybrid development involving both native code and HTML5 components
• Experience architecting technical designs based on functional and business requirements.
• Project Management skills
