Job Description
We are looking for talented software engineers to build and improve our mobile applications to provide an excellent experience to our current users and attract new users.
As a mobile software engineer, you have hands-on experience with Objective-C or Java. You have good understanding of iOS or Android SDKs and frameworks. You also have a solid foundation in computer science with strong knowledge in data structures, algorithms, and design patterns. You are able to take on difficult technical challenges, and you are comfortable working in a small, fast-paced, agile environment.
iOS Mobile Engineer | Responsibilities:
- Become an expert in technical aspects of our products
- Design and develop high quality iOS or Android applications with beautiful custom GUI
- Work closely with managers, engineers, and UX/UI designers to transform requirements and UI mockups to mobile applications using the agile software development process.
- Contribute in different stages of the development process from defining requirements and UI to deploying the mobile applications
- Write technical documents to convey the architecture, design, and internal process of the mobile applications
- Find and fix bugs in released software
iOS Mobile Engineer | Requirements:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related field
- 5+ years of hands-on, object-oriented software development experience including at least 1 year of experience in developing mobile applications
- Hands-on experience with iOS or Objective-C or Java, SDKs, frameworks, tools, unit testing, and the mobile application deployment process
- Experience in building client/server GUI mobile applications for different screen sizes (phone and tablet)
- Able to write clean, maintainable code and pay attention to details and the quality of the code
- Great verbal and written communication skills
- Startup mentality (self-starter, proactive, flexible)
- Familiar with JSON and SVN
iOS Mobile Engineer | Preferred
- Experience with both iOS AND Android (Objective-C and Java) is a huge plus
- Experience with RESTFul web services, PHP, and SQL
