Job Description
The mobile software engineer focuses on deploying native mobile apps across multiple operating systems to tens of millions of devices worldwide.
Android Engineer | Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of a mobile experience
- Work closely with UX and UI, product management, and other teams to conceive, create, and design unique mobile apps and successful human pyramids
- Rapidly add new functionality, solve complex problems, and ship quality applications
Android Engineer | Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in software design and development
- BS or MS in computer science
- Deep knowledge of Android
- Excellent Java-programming skills
- Have created one or more deployed consumer Android applications
- Strong intuition for UX and consumer behavior
- Independent, self-motivated, and an avid technologist
Android Engineer | Preferred:
- Have worked with iOS or other mobile platform
- Front-end web experience, particularly with HTML5, AJAX, JS, CSS, and WAP
- Ruby on Rails or other web-stack experience
- RDBMS (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, and SQLite)
