Job Description
We’re looking for individuals with a passion for excellence who are only satisfied with the very best (we like: a manic attention to detail; we don’t like: maniacs). Our ideal candidates are engineers who have brought their own ideas to life and don’t shy away when it comes to implementation. They are also resourceful and self-sufficient, deal well with the unexpected and undefined, and have significant previous experience writing Android apps — samples required, preferably links to the Google Play Store.
Android Developer | Responsibilities:
- maintain and develop Android applications
- implement tools and frameworks (utilized by the Android team)
- think generically and abstractly
- work through deadlines and communicate to senior management
- actively participate in our social coding community
Android Developer | Requirements:
- strong working knowledge of java
- extensive familiarily with the Android SDK
- <3 RESTful web services
- demonstratable server-side programming prowess (preferrably with node.js, ruby, or python.. but we don’t discriminate!)
- passion for open source software
- in-depth knowledge of git
- familiarity with github
