Job Description
We are looking for scrappy, hardworking, intelligent and creative iOS developers to join our rapidly growing software team. We need someone who is excited about and experienced in building next generation apps, and is ready to hit the ground running with our world-class team of engineers.
iOS Engineer | Responsibilities:
- Work independently with minimal guidance and supervision.
- Own all stages of the product life cycle from requirements to development to testing.
- Develop unit tests and documentation.
- Work with UI/UX leads to ensure excellent user experience.
- Be active in startup and developer communities here in Austin and online.

Aptitude
You need not have worked at Google, Facebook, Twitter and Snapchat prior to applying. Boxer believes that an individual’s ability to learn, adapt, and create is far more impactful than the logos on their resume.
It would also be nice if you knew something about / have experience with the following:
iOS Engineer | Requirements:
- BS+ in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience
- 3+ years previous experience as a professional software developer
- 1+ years of iOS
- Expert in Objective-C
- Demonstrated contribution to at least one published App in the Apple App Store
- Strong technical design, requirements, and use case development
- Relational database skills
- Source control exposure in team development environment (Github or similar)
iOS Engineer | Preferred:
- Experience building applications for multiple platforms (iOS/Android) a big plus
- Agile development methodologies
- Web services integration experience
- Knowledge of application security issues
- Exposure to NoSQL technologies
- UI/UX Design capabilities
- Familiarity with background operations, services, connectivity and on-device storage
