This is an iPhone/iPad developer for our mobile development team, part of the Advanced Platform Group. This is one of the most exciting and cutting edge development groups at E*TRADE. They are responsible for development of Mobile and Tablet application development, as well as new platforms such as HTML5. This is a highly visible and critical development position utilizing new technologies. Development in this group is on a fast track and brings tremendous growth potential.
iOS Developer | Responsibilities:
- Work with Product Management, Project Management, QA & Operations to guide and work through the design, development, testing & deployment of applications.
- Produce detailed design specifications from project requirements that incorporates robustness/high availability.
- Work with lead software engineers and technical project managers develop comprehensive work breakdowns and project development schedules.
- Provide hands-on development assistance and troubleshoot tech issues.
- Track and report development progress and problems.
iOS Developer | Requirements:
- Must have detailed knowledge of iOS SDK and XCode development environment
- Strong Object-Oriented Development Skills
- Must have thorough understanding of Objective C memory management
- Strong knowledge of threading
- Computer Science degree preferred
- Must be able to write clean and efficient code
- Working knowledge of source code control systems and configuration management practices is required.
- Strong interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow.
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Creative, flexible, and innovative team player
