Job Description
As part of the Trulia Mobile team, create innovative applications for the Google Android platform. Manage application development process throughout short product life cycle from inception to launch, collaborating with internal resources in order to deliver innovative top class applications. Convert business requirements into design and implementation specifications. Accountable for code quality, unit testing, and quality assurance coordination. Single-handedly design and code all aspects of android applications, included UI, UX, and data interactions.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field followed by five years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a computer-related occupation.
Android Mobile Developer | Requirements:
- Java and OOP;
- Android SDK and tools including Eclipse IDE and ADT;
- Publication of one or more applications in the Android market;
- JSON and XML-based application development;
- Low level mobile application development, including GPS, Bluetooth, and remote debugging;
- Integrating and managing multiple 3rd party APIs in mobile applications;
- Contributing to multiple overlapping development efforts in a multi-team environment;
- Breaking down complex technical problems and executing project plans.
