Android Developer | Responsibilities:

  • Working on both client and internal projects
  • Producing neat, tested, readable and well documented code
  • Contributing code to help extend and help improve common / open source libraries
  • Organizing your work within an agile team
  • Working closely with designers and testers
  • Collaborating with other developers on pushing quality and our craft at ustwo
  • Being responsible for your work and your code

Android Developer | Requirements:

  • Experience of Android SDK, Java development and Eclipse
  • Experience of development best practices, software principles and code design concepts
  • Knowledge of common design patterns, frameworks and libraries for Android
  • A passion for code quality and craftsmanship
  • Experience of working with integration of 3rd party APIs
  • Interest in UI development
  • Working in an Agile team using Git / DVCS
  • Sense of humour
  • Some practical experience with TDD and / or BDD, for Android or other platforms would be nice
  • Some experience with API design, Ruby along with an interest in functional programming would also be cool but not required • Active Github account / open source contributions is always a plus
  • Experience of additional platforms, such as iOS, Windows Phone or mobile web would be awesome but not required
