Job Description
We are looking for iOS and/or Android engineers to join our team. You will be working with our in-house team to build applications. Our positions are based either in Manchester, NH or in our Portland, ME offices.
Mobile Engineers | Responsibilities:
- Play a key role as an iOS and/ or Android developer.
- Deliver across the entire app life cycle –concept, design, build, deploy, test, release and support.
- Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test and deploy products.
- Gather requirements around functionality and translate those requirements into elegant solutions.
- Work with the web developers to create and maintain a robust framework to support the apps.
- Work with the front end developers to build the interface with focus on usability features.
- Create compelling device specific user interfaces and experiences.
- Standardize the platform to deliver across multiple brands with minimal duplication of effort.
- Keep up to date on the latest industry trends in the mobile technologies.
- Explain technologies and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Mobile Engineers | Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related discipline.
- 3+ years experience in professional/commercial application development.
- Strong technical background with knowledge in Cocoa, Objective C, iPhone SDK, Xcode, Java, Android SDK, HTML5, XML/JSON, GIT and other web base technologies.
- Experience with native iOS or Android applications development.
- Strong vision for mobile Internet and experience in development of mobile applications on either iPhone or Android.
- Combine the knowledge of Web technologies with mobile app design experience.
- Experience working on web application APIs in a language like Python or PHP a plus.
- Familiarity with Git and/or Jira is also a plus.
