Job Description

We’re looking for iOS app developers (but we’d also love to talk to web devs, backend devs, and designers).

  • Love creating beautiful user experiences? We’re a design-driven company, and you’ll have the opportunity to work closely with world-class designers. In the last year, Paper has won numerous design awards including the Apple Design Award, IxDA, AIGA, and Crunchie.
  • Enjoy a technical challenge? Interesting problems abound.
  • Want to have an impact? We’re small but growing quickly. You’ll help shape the company’s future.
  • We’re a startup but we’re on solid financial ground. We offer competitive salary, benefits, and equity.
  • This role will be based in our NYC office. No remote, but we’ll help with relocation. H1B transfers only.

iOS Engineer | Responsibilities:

Great products begin with great people. This is who we strive to be:

  • Well-rounded We develop products at the intersection of art and science. It’s great to have depth, but breadth is essential.
  • Collaborative Harmonious products reflect the teams that build them. The ability to work across disciplines and make others better is a must.
  • Makers We place a high value on the quality of our products and the process of making them. The joy of making is its own reward. We consistently set a higher bar.
  • Respectful Creativity flourishes in open, accepting environments. Respect and kindness towards members of the team and our customers is an absolute requirement.
  • Experimental We don’t shy away from risks and experimentation. We embrace new thinking and technologies and always consider multiple ways of solving problems.

Company Description

We make stuff. Beautiful, practical, meaningful stuff. We make what we love. We love what we do

Since we launched Paper for iOS in March of 2012, it has been downloaded more than 7 million times. In December, Apple named us the 2012 App of the Year on iPad. But Paper is just the beginning for us; we’re hard at work on what’s next. We’re building teams in New York and Seattle to take up the challenge.
