ClearSlide is a rapidly growing web-based startup in Downtown San Francisco. At ClearSlide, you will have the opportunity to put your ideas into action and make a maximum impact on our product. We’re looking for an Android Developer who can be involved in all parts of the development lifecycle, from preliminary research to release. You will work closely with our clients, developers, and designers to create business-oriented applications for the Android platform. You’ll be working with a world-class team of engineers who are passionate about what they do – and will expect the same from you. You will have the opportunity to make ClearSlides mobile offerings even better, whether it’s implementing new features, improving performance, or making sure the user interface is top notch.
Android Developer | Responsibilities:
- Architect, build and maintain the ClearSlide Android applications while providing ongoing support throughout the product lifecycle
- Cutting-edge Android application prototyping and development
- Research and remain informed of new technology and development tools
- Keep up-to-date on the latest Android SDK developments and respond to customer feedback / testing
- Work with cross-functional teams and mobile developers to build apps according to requirements and drive successful launches of Android versions
Android Developer | Requirements:
- 1+ years’ experience developing Android apps
- 5 years of overall software development experience
- Strong Java language skills
- Aesthetic for not only good code design, but good user experience design
- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field from a top university
- Working with SupportLibrary, ActionBarSherlock, SQLite, WebViews, and GCM a plus
