Job Description
AccuWeather is seeking a mobile application developer with expertise both in developing new, and maintaining existing iOS applications. This position will require some responsibility regarding application UI design, and general input on UI decisions.
iOS Mobile Developer | Responsibilities:
- Work with development team on maintenance, support, and development of applications.
- Troubleshoot and identify software technical issues.
- Contribute to software architectural design decisions.
- Research and develop solutions for future software releases.
- Update software to meet evolving and changing market and technical advances.
- Provide input on user interface elements.
iOS Mobile Developer | Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field and 1-3 years of experience, or a combination equivalent of education and experience.
- Expertise in Objective-C and the iOS SDK.
- Proficiency in data parsing (e.g. XML and JSON).
- Experience with a version control system (e.g. Git, Subversion, etc.).
- Experience with unit testing.
- General understanding of good UI practices and creating high-performance mobile application experiences.
- Knowledge of internationalization and localization is a plus.
- Some experience interacting with customers and managing client expectations is a plus.
