Are you ready to design, create and implement innovative, cutting-edge Android software solutions and applications? If so, you may be perfect for us as we are looking for an Android Developer. The Android Developer will be responsible for enhancing and building onto our existing mobile and applications platform for the Android marketplace. The qualified candidate will work within our small team being a part of the full product cycle, while making decisions and creating new and exciting features for our mobile users.
Android Developer | Responsibilities:
- You are passionate about Android and continually follow the platform’s innovations
- You are an active coder with an eye for UI and Visual Design
- You have no problem coding front-end and back-end deliverables
- You are interested in working on fast-paced, Agile software development teams
- You love the idea of working on cross-functional teams as you will work in close quarters with fellow designers, QA Engineers, and Project Managers every step of the way
Android Developer | Requirements:
- Experience building apps that communicate with RESTful services
- Experience with Git
- Excellent Java skills with good knowledge of Android SDK
- Attention to quality through unit tests, automation scripts and code reviews
Android Developer | Preferred:
- B.S. in Computer Science or related field from an accredited academic institution
- Two years of experience with the Android platform
- Two to five years of experience with other mobile platforms
- .NET web development – MVC, Web API
