Job Description
Android Engineer | Responsibilities:
- Design and implement elegant solutions for the Android Wear platform that will be incorporated into our core android app.
- Highly collaborative
- Develop prototypes to demonstrate the merits of a proposed solution
- Develop moderate to complex application components based on functional requirements
- Demonstrate strong problem solving ability and analytical skills
- Provide technical guidance and mentoring to other engineers
- Maintain a broad knowledge of new technology tools and trends, and apply that knowledge to architectural designs
- Enjoy being part of a team of humble, collaborative high-achievers
Android Engineer | Requirements:
- A strong desire to be part of the leading team of mobile commerce software engineers in the world
- 5 years minimum software design and development experience working on a team
- 2 years minimum experience developing Android applications is required
- Solid and demonstrable understanding of object-oriented design patterns and principles
- Experience with Eclipse, version control systems (e.g. Git) and bug tracking (e.g. JIRA) is required
- Experience developing applications on iOS or Windows 8 is a bonus
Education
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
