Job Description
- We’re looking for a skilled Android developer to join our small(~6 people) engineering team.
- Travel to Toronto to pair with Xtreme Labs in building the first iteration of the Prevent Android app.
- Work with our product manager to refine the app and develop iterative improvements over time.
- Work closely with our web and iOS development teams to create a coherent experience across devices.
- Be able to communicate and pair with the web backend team to create efficient APIs.
- Learn new techniques and technologies from everyone as well as sharing your skills.
Android Developer | Requirements:
- As our first Android developer, you should have significant full-cycle Android development and deployment experience and be able to help build out and train our mobile team as we grow.
- 1 year of professional Android Development
- Published apps in the Play store (or something far enough to be able to show)
- Strong Java language skills
- You have an aesthetic for not only good code design, but good user experience design
- Excellent communication skills, interested in pairing with other developers and working as a team
- Train and integrate new members of the mobile team as we grow
